Making your website universally accessible The Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) have been formulated so as to guide website designers to make their sites usable, user friendly and universally accessible. The complete set of guidelines in printable format can be accessed from the website www.web.guidelines.gov.in. Accompanying the guidelines is a compliance matrix checklist which can help you determine specifically which area of your website needs to be worked upon in order to make it compliant.
