National Test Scheme: Public Opinion Poll: National Test Scheme (NTS) is a newly designed proposal to help selection of students for admission to tertiary education in Science and Engineering. It would be based on a single examination evaluation while considering weights of the board examinations instead of the prevailing multiple competitive examination system in the country. | ![]() | | | Guidelines It has been more than two years since the launch of Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW). Success of GIGW has been made possible by effective implementation which includes programs related to capacity building, training, handholding and towards sensitization of the departments in the adoption and implementation of these guidelines. The efforts made for better implementation of GIGW has now started showing results with States Governments also taking up keen interest in ensuring that their websites are compliant to the guidelines. This is all the more encouraging since the response from the States was low till now. State of Uttarakhand has taken a major stride in this direction and has earned the credit of meeting the mandatory requirements of the GIGW for a number of State Government websites. | | | | | | | | | | | |
